Hello, ipad air 2, ios 15.8.4, unable to log in to your apple id account, error Verification Failed. This action could not be completed. Please try again. Tried resetting, flashing, used different networks and accounts, unable to log in to any account, what else can I do?

Same here, iPad Air2, iPadOS 15.8.4
Customer service tried a lot of things like: "force reboot, iPad iTunes firmware update and also EULA confirmation"
Today at 6pm they will call me back from engineering team...

If you are on 15.8.4 I believe you are already on the latest version. How can we force update?
iPad mini 4 iOS 15.8.4. Same problem. Logged out of account and for 3 weeks now I can't log into any account. Tried everything possible.
Same issue here on iPhone 6S with latest iOS 15.8.4 update after restoring. Also, has anyone had any battery or performance issues with latest update?

Is that really the case? I truly hope Apple releases a fix for this Apple ID login issue soon. It’s been two weeks already, and my iPad Air 2 has been practically unusable because I can’t download any apps from the App Store.

Spoke to senior apple support advisor just now who confirmed it is still being investigated and that there should be another software update soon.
