So I found out how to find when the update was done. It was the 17th of May so it had 10 full days to
catch up with completing the update, synching and indexing. All of that talk is nonsense. It needed help to complete.
If you want to look back go to the health App on the iphone. I went into Steps and then right to the bottom
to show all data - When you view one of the many samples in a day it'll show what device and OS version captured the data. This way I could see at 2am I apparently took 16 steps (Toilet?) on Software version 11.3.1 and at 9:55am it was another sample of 312 steps taken on Software version 11.5 so it did the update at some stage of the morning (I might have forced it while doing its morning charge).
So to summarise - Anyone who says "Oh just wait a few days, it'll resolve itself" doesn't know what they are talking about. 10 days on modern hardware and it was still running like garbage.
