How to make Wallpaper to cycling through all wallpapers within a folder?
Since the update from Ventura to Sonoma, the Mac can no longer cycle through background images.
Here is the situation.
1) I created a folder on my desktop with 100 wallpapers.
2) In Preferences, I click on Wallpaper and add my folder
3) I select my folder as wallpaper, alternating every x minutes (NO RANDOM)
The Mac displays the first wallpaper in the folder in alphabetical order, then the second, then the third, and so on, according to the minutes set.
Initially, when I turned the Mac on, the first wallpaper in the list in the folder was the first one, when I turned it off and then on again (even the next day), the wallpaper would point to the last one it had displayed and continue with the next one.
Since upgrading to Ventura this no longer works, nor does Sonoma and Sequoia. Whenever the Mac is turned off and on again, the wallpaper displayed is always the first one in the list. So if I have 100 wallpapers, I always see the same ones.
Bear in mind that I have tried many solutions over the past three years, including re-initialising the Mac several times, and even bought a new one this year, but the problem is still there.
Surely this is a bug that Apple has not fixed, but if anyone can provide a solution, I would be grateful.
