My M1 iMac no longer powering on despite holding power button down

Hey I need some help regarding this issue. My imac is not turning on but I've fixed this issue before but it was always accidental and I still do not know what to do. Here are the details:

The wall socket is working because I use a monitor with my imac and I've swapped the plugs around to make sure the sockets work and they both do. I'm also certain that the cable works as the brick that is at the middle of the cable where you can plugin the ethernet has a current because when I plug it in I can hear the electricity when the plug goes in. I've held the power button multiple times for 10 seconds with my mouse and keyboard accessories plugged into the computer and without it being pluggged in. This isn't the first time this has happened either. Sometimes, it would turn randomly but this issue only ever happens when the imac is unplugged which I did today when I unplugged it to move the positions of the screen and now its not turning on. Someone please help me I have no idea what to do.

More details about this mac:

  • It's an M1 imac, I bought it when it first released. It has a 24 inch display 4.5k

Try the following:

1 - unplug the power cord from the back of the iMac for 15 - 20 seconds.

2 - plug it back in and try to power on.

If it powers on but shuts down shortly thereafter you have a failing power supply. If it won't power on after the above it probably has a failed power supply. You should make an appointment at the nearest Apple Genius Bar for a free diagnostic check.
