Why are my videos converting to photos in the "Hidden Folder" on Mac?

While using Macbook, tried to hide video file in the "Hidden" photo folder under "Utilities" and deleted the video from the "Finder" and "Bin".

After deleting the video from the "Finder" the video in the "Hidden" folder is converted automatically to "photo" and cannot be played as video file.

But if the original video is not deleted from the "Finder" then can play the video in the "Hidden" Folder. If like this then no point of having "Hidden" folder because anyone access the same video in the "Finder". Suggest once the hidden file is moved to hidden folder, it should not be available in any other folder. Appreciate any assist.

In other words, you messed around with the Photos database, behind Photos back, and deleted your video in the process. There apparently was still a separate still image from the video stored somewhere (perhaps one which Photos only used for the purpose of quickly refreshing the Library view) that you missed.

As the other poster said, hiding the video within Photos only hides it within that application.

You seem to think that the "Hidden" folder is for keeping things an absolute secret from anyone else to whom you give access to your device. I don't think it's for that at all. It's probably just an organizational tool – to let you hide things that you don't want cluttering up your view at the moment, but that wouldn't be especially embarrassing or incriminating if seen by someone else to whom you handed your device.
