Issue with Key Hold Function & Freezing After macOS Sequoia 15.5 Update

Hi everyone,

Since updating to macOS Sequoia 15.5, I've encountered a frustrating issue: holding down a key (e.g., to access accented characters or alternate options) no longer brings up the usual popup. Even more concerning, attempting this action causes the entire page to freeze.

I've already tried all known solutions that were effective in resolving similar issues in previous macOS versions, but unfortunately, nothing has worked so far.

Has anyone else experienced this since the update? Any suggestions or workarounds would be greatly appreciated!
