Why is my GarageBand playhead not visible on macOS Catalina?

Running Garageband 10.3.5. on Catalina, and the playhead isn't showing up at all. I can still spilt at the playhead and what have you but I can't make it very precisely without it. Anybody else experience this and may have a fix?
