I have apple phone watch and i pad. How do you make one device be in control

Phone/Watch Alerts Good evening, just upgraded to a iPhone 14 and new SE series 2 watch. With my old 8+ iPhone and series 2 Apple Watch when I would get a phone call, it would come through just on my watch. With the new combo however, they both ring simultaneously. Is there any way to have it just go to my watch when on and the phone is locked ?
